*Join organizations that lobby policy makers in support of improving the conditions for those with the least among us:
The Nashville Jewish Social Justice Roundtable
A Voice for the Reduction of Poverty in Nashville
*Become a part of NOAH (Nashville Organized for Action & Hope)! NOAH’s three key focus issues, determined by its members, are: affordable housing, economic equity, and education. Meetings are on the second Tuesday of the month, 6:30 p.m. at Clark Memorial UMC.
*Volunteer with organizations seeking housing for low-income families.
*Attend future Social Action Tables of Content Shabbat services; each will feature a guest speaker or panel of speakers sharing about issues directly affecting our community.
*Participate in the Micah Social Action Committee Calls for Action. Action opportunities will be sent out via social media and in the e-blast. Keep your eyes peeled!
