In the Jewish tradition, it is customary to remember our deceased family and friends by the simple act of declaring their names. We say their names publicly on the anniversary of their deaths (Yahrzeit) and at memorial services (Yizkor). We also offer the opportunity to memorialize loved ones through our Yahrzeit Memorial Wall. Members and friends of Micah may purchase a plaque to be added to the memorial wall for your loved one to receive further recognition on the date of their yahrzeit.

As we continue to build our congregation together, let us not forget those who are no longer with us. By contributing the names of those upon whose shoulders you stand, we will not only honor their memories, we will strengthen our community.
